Heyo.
Been reading (and loving) the new Beach Boys book. One quote on page 325 stuck out to me. Carl said "I thought CatP should have been three separate albums....."

Now that we have the sessions for these albums - how could three albums be adequately assembled from what we know? Do we think this was possible? All while maintaining a good listening experience with limited filler?

What 3 album track lists do you propose?
I had never considered this and find it fascinating trying to make cohesive/strong albums out of material we know.

On a side note, I believe there is much more Dennis stuff in the vault that hasn't been released and is being held back for an eventual Dennis box set. So perhaps Carl was privy to some more Dennis stuff than we know. He was super prolific around this time.

I think what Carl is alluding to isn't a literal release of three separate LP's but is instead touching on the fact that the material evenly breaks down into three disparate recording "teams": "Brian/Mike/Carl/Al"; "Blondie/Ricky/Carl" and "Dennis."
