Here is the link to 1973  https://www.beachboysgigs.com/1973-2/     The website is Beachboysgigs.com and you can look at the years 1962 to 1973.  I view it as an update to my book- and I try when possible to have a photo from each gig-if I don't have one-then I may use another image and I will usually state that the photo is not from that show

But the way there is a blog called Additions which has updates and corrections to the book up to 1972

Great work as always!

I enjoy reading how much Blondie was praised in reviews. This makes me sure had he stayed in the band he would certainly be seen as much as a "real" Beach Boy as Bruce. His contribution was just so strong

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Yeah…he was a big part of the live act in 72-73-a dynamic presence in the more laid back group-the dynamic was different in 74 without him

Ian, late getting to this due to a lot of work for film festivals ongoing in SF, but what a great pleasure to have this all-important year in the band's history receive the type of detailed context it deserves....thanks so much for your incredible dedication!

What a tremendous resource. Thank you! I enjoyed reading the entry for the April 21, 1973, show at the Music Hall in Houston, my first time to see the group. I think the cover of the "In Concert" album was taken either here or at the Dallas concert. For some reason, I remember Dennis wore that shirt at the Houston show. Also remember Carl interrupting the show for some time to fix distortion in the sound system, as the entry noted. Thanks again.

I think the LP cover was taken the day before at the LA show but the band looked similar at both shows

Fantastic as always, Ian. Thanks for the heads-up.
