Apparently, Jim Peterik is currently working with Brian on a new song. Could that mean a new Brian solo could be on the horizon soon?? This came to me from a trusted and very reliable source. Anyone know anything about this??

I’m not sure about this specifically, but photos of Brian and Darian in the studio were posted back in October. I suspect something is brewing.

Keep in mind that Jim Peterik was also working on “new songs” with Brian in 1998 that didn’t come out until 2012.

Separately, I wouldn’t be surprised if whatever Peterik could be working on is another item dusted off from circa ’98.

Hey, I'm happy Brian is still putting out new stuff. If it's great, awesome. If it's not, that's okay too. I feel happy that Brian is still out there. I hope he's happy, that's what matters.

If Brian is putting out new music, I really love this unreleased gem left over from the TWGMTR sessions included!

There were a few pics of Brian in the studio late last year with his band recording something.  Rumor was he was recording a Glen Campbell song for a forthcoming tribute album but who knows?  At this point I don't have any high hopes we're really going to get much more from Brian considering his noticeable decline from last year but I wouldn't complain being proven wrong.  In his recent statement following the Grammy tribute concert he seemed to suggest his retirement by stating he was "busy doin' nothing" these days...

So I heard Al drop some hints for another Brian album on some podcast.  Don't have the link handy.

How did a fairly recent podcast a couple of weeks ago where he talked about not only his current tour of Southern California and those shows but also the fact that Brian was working on a new album and possible tour for next year. The new album I could see maybe but the tour wow can't imagine after seeing Brian last year on stage that he'd be touring again but who knows. Al said he would be out with him if he did. I'm surprised more didn't come out of that podcast about this

A new Brian album? Without Joe Thomas, and maybe more involvement by Darian? Would be too good to be true!

With Joe, I'd expect at best another "No Pier Pressure". With Darian, I'd expect anything from the R&R album to something like another "Love You".

And I'd love (no pun here) to see good old Andy Paley resurface, in any capacity, for this. Whatever the usual naysayers may say, Andy was a great collaborator for Brian.

I think this is a very good idea for Brian, regardless if it gets released or not. I think he’s the kind of person who wants to feel like a project is underway, even if it’s low-key or tentative. Whatever the case, it’s certainly easier on him than a tour.

Finally, there have been recent pics shared of him having a birthday dinner with Darian, and Brian is looking pretty good. Hopefully he’s on a bit of a rebound generally.

He really does. It's very heartening to see him happy right there. Even if he never gave a single performance or recorded another note, if I could get a photo every so often to see the big guy is doing well it would be just as appreciated. I think at this point that while new music or performances would be nice we just want to see Brian living a happy life.

Great to see Brian looking happy and healthy and enjoying a meal in a restaurant.

Warren Buffett is famous for saying that "it's always been a terrible mistake to bet against America.”  A similar claim could be made about BW.  Conventional wisdom has repeatedly written off Brian for various reason over the decades, but there he is ... keeping on keeping on... a true survivor.

Nice picture of Brian.  He looks a lot better here than he has in recent memory.  I hope the guy is in a good place nowadays.
