After last day's fake reporting about Jerry Lee's death, it looks like now The Killer is indeed gone.
https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/music/jerry-lee-lewis-free-wheeling-wild-man-rock-n-roll-dies-87-rcna4456
I'm kinda surprised that Death would dare crossing Jerry Lee's path again. But here we are.
If I had to name just one person as the purest musical genius of the 20th century it'll be the Killer. Few people have understood how great he was. Rock on, Jerry Lee!

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

RIP Jerry Lee Lewis aka The Killer! I remember that Jerry made our show in Spain in 1990 very special. He refused to perform unless he closed the show. We had a great show!
Here you can see some footage of that show. First it's the Beach Boys' set (without Carl), then you'll see one song by Jerry Lee (he did perform more of course):

There used to be a video of a talk show online that features exclusively Marily Wilson and Myra Lewis and was about teenage wifes of Rock stars.
Brian Wilson at the Great Balls of Fire Premiere

In tribute of the Killer a couple of channels put up some archive material:
Austin City Limits 902: Jerry Lee Lewis - "Great Balls of Fire"
(and "Whole lotta shakin' goin' on")

"Redemption" turned out to be "Last Man standing"
That last video was shot at the Ed Sullivan theatre. JLL played Ed's show in '69 and put on a power house performances:

From the L. A. Times:
Jerry Lee Lewis' teenage bride speaks out: 'I was the adult and Jerry was the child'
When Myra Williams looks back on her life — her marriage to her cousin, singer Jerry Lee Lewis, in 1957 when she was just 13 years old, their good and bad times together, the two children they had, the permanent damage that their relationship inflicted on Lewis’ career and legacy — she sometimes wonders whether it was all a dream.
