I had thoughts if I should put this here. But I guess it is the best place to post. I saw on Facebook this post by Rob's daughter:

I can’t believe I’m even writing this, but it is with the heaviest heart that I announce the sudden passing last night of my Dad, Rob. I, as well as my sisters are in utter shock and devastation at this time. We are so grateful for the love and wishes we’ve already received from everyone.

Rest in Peace, Rob!

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Very very sorry for your loss!  Very 😔 sad news.

Rob was a valuable contributor to the Board and a key member IMO!

Warmest regards to you and your family.

My deepest condolences to his family.

I’m at a loss for words

That's really sad news. Never really chatted to him but seen him at many gigs over the years. Believe he played in a Beach Boys tribute band too. Seemed a real character.

RIP Rob

Very sad news.

I met up with him before the last Brian Wilson show in Bristol, England, and we had a good long chat before taking our seats.

A passionate fan.
