Not much to add here, but I thought for evereyone who doesn't know the other version of "Keepin' the Summer alive" it would be interesting to hear it.
Union - Keep the Summer AliveRandy Bachman's take on his 1979 collaboration with Carl Wilson and The Beach Boys, "Keepin' the Summer Alive". This was released on Randy's 1981 album On Strike, recorded by his group Union. I believe the album has had a CD release, but I was only able to find a vinyl rip of this track unfortunately. the album versions were freshly-recorded, and don't use elements of the demo tracks recorded at The Barn (the later RB-produced version of "KSTA" from his subsequent band, Union, does)...
