Hi, I was wondering if anyone could recommend the best way to go about contacting Beach Boys archivists Mark Linnett and Alan Boyd? I realise that they probably don't want to be bothered directly by BBs archive enquiries so this may be a long shot, but I'm asking just in case anyone has any pointers. My enquiry regards checking to see if they were aware of a particular BB archive item for potential use in future projects. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Well, according to his profile, Mark Linett has been active on this forum as of at least yesterday. Alan Boyd was last on the Endless Harmony forum yesterday as well. I'm sure they would notice a post on either. This "BB archive item" sounds very interesting though.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Look, if you've laid your hands on Brian's original completed SMiLE album, fully mixed and sequenced from May 1967, no need to be shy, just come out and say so!

I'm still waiting for the buyer of the Durrie Parks acetates to have a fit of conscience. That phone snippet is as close to magic as possible

At the very end of the Child Is Father of the Man track on the 2018 Friends set.

Woo hoo! I smell a future release coming from this, although the vage description of this "archive item" doesn't tell us much - the leg of a broken chair Dennis threw at Mike on stage?

Hopefully it's actual music of some kind.
