I was just thinking about this today, how many known beach boys demo are their available to the public (whether through legitimate means or otherwise lol).

Off the top of my head I can think of a few,
Don’t Talk
Surfin
Be With Me
Mona Kani
I Can Hear Music
Surf’s Up
Heroes and Villains (although this is a radio broadcast wasn’t it?)
Soulful Ol Man Sunshine
California Feelin’

I just think it would be cool to compile a list in chronological order. What are some that I’m missing?

There's the "Surfin' USA" demo on "Hawthorne, CA".

Brian sings a couple of different lyrics on that one. I wondered if maybe those were the earliest and if then may have Mike re-written some of them, hence his claim of co-authorship.  Huh

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

There's Till I Die, and two Mt Vernon demos.

Are we including Brian solo demos?

There are more than a couple from his first solo album/Usher era.

I seem to remember there being one or two from the Paley era.

Of course, with the passage of time and adoption of digital recording methods, the line between a demo and a final track has become very blurry - just look at the That Lucky Old Sun demos for evidence of that.
