Wow, I wonder if he lost his shrink-wrapped original copy of Smiley Smile, which as of 1979 he kept in the garage (according to, IIRC, an interview he and Carl did with Time Barrier Express that year)!
Granted, this would be several garages later. Granted, Bruce is barely on that album (just "Good Vibrations", and maybe the tag of "Vegetables"). Granted, "Stuff" doesn't matter, as he says here.

Yeah it would be a shame If he lost his collection-when I was doing my book everyone I talked to had not saved things like posters and itineraries but they told me Bruce had-sad if it’s all gone, though as Bruce said life is certainly more important
