I love Surf’s Up - but I like both the Surf’s Up album version and the Smile Sessions versions does different reasons.

So I’m wondering if there exist a version with all Brian on lead - and the Moog bass coming in from the Surf’s Up album on: ‘I heard the word’...

Thanks

Wouldn't be too hard to do theoretically - just splice 'movement 1' from Smile 2011 into the 1971 version. Only problem is the mastering would sound different between the two, and it would switch from mono to stereo halfway through.

There's a stereo mix of the 2011 Surf's Up on side 4 of the record.

Trying to figure out which of my organs I could sell for outtakes and live.
