Does anyone know if an orchestra has ever performed pet sounds?

I don't think the whole album but some tracks. On "symphonic sounds: the music of the Beach Boys" is some stuff.
And Brian was backed by an orchestra for some PS-concerts in 2000 I think.

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Gary Usher's symphonic tribute to Brian Wilson (which is unfortionately not very good despite an incredible tracklisting) includes Caroline No, You Still Believe In Me, Pet Sounds and God Only Knows.

I swear I've seen something like this in a store before...I don't remember who it was by but it was the whole album done by a full orchestra.  I can't seem to find it on Amazon but it exists I swear!

I know of a String Quartet plays Pet Sounds, and they do the whole album + Hang On To Your Ego.

Ooooh yes that's the one I saw...I misspoke about it being a full orchestra.

Is that the one with the goats on the album cover? I've seen that in lots of music stores over the past few years.

So it is with singing? Otherwise I don't see any sense in doing "Hang on to your ego" when they already played "I know there's an answer"

The violin objected to the lyrics, so they had to redo it.
