Hi Billy. Good to hear that Fear 2 Stop are going stronger than ever. Very cool that Jay is now on board!

Listening to "Science Friction" right now--nice! I'll link the EP around the place.

Hoping you, your family and Jay are doing OK out there.

Thanks Dean...that means a lot. Being able to with my wife, my best friend, and my daughter is a blessing! Especially the kiddo... started off with me teaching Jaymie how to mix, and how it works as far as producing. She’s close to surpassing me if she hasn’t already! And she’s not yet 13 ! So I want this to be successful but more so for her, as I know she will eventually do her own thing.

She started writing after we saw Brian live in 2017. When I had my most recent stroke for a long time I couldn’t write anymore, or at least finish anything. She ended up helping me get back to where I was . I couldn’t have done it without her. And she’s so young!

Needless to say, I’m very proud

Here’s an example of her writing (I did the bridge)

Wow, that song is a cool-cool track, I love the whole synthy-vibe coming from this track and the percussion adds a way cooler flavor to it.
I've been listening to The Next Level and I can tell you that your style (well, the style of your band) is something special and unique, good work, mate!!!!!!

That means a lot to me. We’ve been doing this since 2001 (back when it was myself, my wife, and our friend Raymond) and (I’m dead serious) have recorded around 1000 songs (not a typo) over the years. We started to have some success but then Dana and I had Jaymie, and then Raymond’s wife passed, then my strokes... so we’re just now at the point of going full throttle again.  We don’t have any qualms about being successful in the commercial sense but that means little right now (although if we get a few buys I certainly won’t complain). Jaymie said she’s mostly interested in “making works of art “.

Works for me

Uploaded a new compilation of stuff from our early years when our sound was quite different. Definitely less polished and less produced.

Here's our latest from our upcoming album (details to come...). This is a great example of where our sound is going towards. Even though the album is more of suite type of deal, this works as a good stand-alone.

FYI the crackling sound is intentional as we were going for the distorted organ sound from Country Air on Wild Honey

Fun fact...there were porn samples used in Arcade Blooze (you can tell from the hi hat sounds....which aren't actually hi hats but something else entirely lol); that was Raymond's idea!

Clairo? She’s one of favorites out of anybody from the past 20 years (especially Bags)

Gonna check out your work later on tonight after I’m done working on a track. You have a great taste in music for sure. Looking forward to it!

I went ahead and tweeted a link to your page on my Twitter as well

Oh and I did end up using a koto sample on a track I’m working on after all 😎

I wish the best of the lucks to all of you! Good, good luck mate!!

Thanks Dean! We are planning something for our 20th but haven't worked out exactly what just yet.

Do you have a Bandcamp page too? If so I'd like to check it out Cool
Awesome! I hope that something goes more than amazing for you and your band!

https://deanentwistle.bandcamp.com - this is my Bandcamp, some of my sound is influenced by Clairo (She's my main inspiration in a lot of aspects), The Beach Boys, Queen, Bowie and Gershwin, in fact, I've released a new album with faux kotos, it's now on Bandcamp

Clairo? She’s one of favorites out of anybody from the past 20 years (especially Bags)

Gonna check out your work later on tonight after I’m done working on a track. You have a great taste in music for sure. Looking forward to it!

I went ahead and tweeted a link to your page on my Twitter as well

Oh and I did end up using a koto sample on a track I’m working on after all 😎
Btw, what kind of koto are you using?

Uploaded a new compilation of stuff from our early years when our sound was quite different. Definitely less polished and less produced.

It's so cool man, I love Peppermint Twist (well that one is on another album/EP but it's so freaking awesome) and Arcade Blooze, You're into something good man, good work!

Fun fact...there were porn samples used in Arcade Blooze (you can tell from the hi hat sounds....which aren't actually hi hats but something else entirely lol); that was Raymond's idea!
LOL, that's an strange and pretty awesome piece of trivia, that song is so great man, nice job!!!!!

Thankya! We’d listened to 20/20 earlier in the day and I think All I Want To Do influenced us LOL
Oh yeah, the Denny Wilson b*nging someone tag
