For piano and keyboards, I recommend Bowie's Aladdin Sane: Mike Garson is a superb, fearless soloist without an ounce of prog-rock bloat
He reminds me a lot of Bernie Worrell in his P-Funk appearances of the same era (hard to isolate a single record)

Dread Zeppelin - "Un Led ED"
Elvis meets Bob Marley on acid.
Robert Plant himself says he loves Dread Zeppelin and that their version of "Your Time Is Gonna Come" is better than Led Zep's. Jimmy Page kicked Carl Jah in the shins. Bob Dylan "almost" danced to their music in Oslo, Norway. David Crosby called Dread Zeppelin, "some weird merda". Dave Stewart of The Eurythmics let them record all of their classic "Un Led ED" in his home studio in Encino, CA while Jeff Lynne played tennis on the grounds. Jerry Garcia called "Un Led ED" the best album of 198.! Julian Cope called "Tour-Telvis: A Bad Trip" psychedelic. But Lionel Richie was apalled that DZ wanted to do his song, "Brick House (of The Holy!)" -hey, he's a serious art-tiste. President Bill Clinton, was excited to shake the hands of producer Jah Paul Jo and bassist Butt-Boy.

Lou Reed -- Berlin (have to second this one)>
Sure, because it's such an uplifting collection of tunes. And also because you can get it from the cut-out bins for a dollar-sixty-nine (oh, not anymore, sure, but you
could
at one time, but if you get a time machine don't go back and buy like 20 copies as an investment, because your girlfriend will just forget to pay the storage bill when you're out of town and you'll lose them, and everything else you own, you miserable sod - at least if you're like me, or actually
are
me, in which case you have my sympathies, and where the hell is my heart-shaped billboard icon anyway, dammit, and why is it 55 degrees in January, it was very nice candlelight and Dubonnet on ice).
Dude, this weather is perfect for winter here. Remember when it was almost 70 for a week last year in December? Got me high. When I go to see my girlfriend I drive by ur Capitol Beltway boi and often think of your lost Berlinz.
Will you change your name to Hllrbckgirl?

We thought they'd never end.
These days I sit on corner stones and count the time in quarter tones to ten.
