Didn't realize that ML even had place in San Diego.  Figured he was a NV resident for tax purposes.

Yeah, it's fancy, but honestly these types of places are so gaudy and gross.  You're uber rich and why not live nicely, but (and maybe it's just the declining times we inhabit these days) this just strikes me as so.....frivolous.   One could do so much with tons of money, is living like some emperor really necessary?  Meh, blah and whatever.  Not impressed.

I could be wrong but didn’t his daughter go to college in SD? Having the home might have been related to that.
