Cool! And right after this, Ron Delsner is mentioned - Beach Boys connection there, as he was one of the dudes who got the Boys booked at Carnegie Hall for their big comeback in '71. 'Course, things go south pretty quickly after that...

I ran into Gilbert a couple months ago one crisp Saturday morning in the East Village here in New York.  He was just putzing around, looking at a few books people had put out on their doorstep to be taken (as is the custom here.). Good times.
