Seems like a bit of a rookie question, but is their any video of Brian drumming on The Wanderer, or a pic of him on drums from say, Love You sessions?

Not sure what the context is of this photo. I swear I've seen another from a later era too.

The Beach Boys legacy is still being mortared to this day...it has a solid and unbreakable foundation of incredible songs that tower above most bands, yet some bricks are more brittle and ugly than others (even some bricks put down more recently)...thus is the nature of any entity that continues to exist. You are not defined solely by your good achievements in life, you're also defined by those unpleasant moments too. This law of life, thankfully, helps keep us all in check.

That's the home studio, circa 69-70 ish.  That's about all we know about it.

Someone (maybe Emdeeh?) has posted an onstage photo of the Boys with Brian on drums, and Denny on the lead mic.

Here's one:

Also, Brian is obviously on drums here, though you can only see his arm (and part of his jacket, compare with the second picture below):

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Is there not some brief footage in the EH doc of Brian playing drums?

I think he was demonstrating the main drum riff from "Be My Baby."
