I know next to nothing about The Cars (two songs) but any death in the music-making community is gut-wrenching. RIP, Ric Ocasek.

Oh, man.
I loved his music. He was a big influence on my writing during a certain era when my band was playing the LA clubs ('79-81). Such great, huge, deliberate hooks!
