Hey everyone! This might be a longshot, but I've been trying to find a fanmix of Heroes and Villains posted on this board awhile back, but I've been running into some trouble. Here's what I can remember from it:

. It was labelled as a "Feb. 67" mix
. It started out with the Brian dialogue "remember one thing: there's no rules to this", which went into Mission Pak, then into the first verse, which used the Brian/Mike shared lead.
. It had a vinyl record popping SFX laid on top.
. The verses had this EQ which made the drums REALLY stand out.
. The ending went from Pickup to Third Verse into Bag of Tricks, which then faded out. Quite a unique ending!

Sorry in advance if this wasn't posted in the right channel! Thanks!

Hi Scott. I seem to remember hearing that mix at the now-defunct Pet Sounds Forum--is that possible?

Is this the post you're talking about? I see there's a mediafire link--not sure if it's still in place...

Yesss! That's the one! And of course, it didn't get to US #1😂

I think link is working!

In those dayd I did a lot of partial HV mixes, but could not get the whole aong sounding right, and tight like a true 3minute single. Just like Brian 😜
I will post  some stuff later!

I really, really like the H&V mix. Wow! Good start, good momentum, good choices, bonkers ending. And it had the pocket symphony vibe of GV. Concise!

Well done, 2016 Niles!

Almost all credit must go to Seltaeb, who did some great mixes few years ago. I dont know if he is still on this board...
