Thanks! I didn't remember that Brian wasn't at the "funeral".
Here's the show at the White House btw:

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Thanks, I never saw this before. Was this the last show with all 6 onstage?

So Carl thought Dennis should be buried next to Murry, but not himself? Go figure.

The last one was July 4, 1983 in Atlantic City, NJ.

Nice article. Didn't know Brian and Carl weren't happy about the arrangement.

I think the last one was 1983 - 8 - 3 in Costa Mesa, CA. That's where "It's just a matter of time" (there's a link to a video in the Pro Shot Concert list, see my signature) and "You are so beautiful" from An American Band come from. It's certainly possible that there were later shows with all six, but I don't know about that. Ian's "The Beach Boys in concert" book probably answers that.

Audree's final resting place is in Westwood Cemetery, as is Carl's. Dean Martin's is also there.

Ian and Jon's "In Concert" book has a rundown of that final run of 1983 shows and which shows Dennis is known to have appeared at. He definitely did some gigs after the July 4th Atlantic City show. As mentioned, that awkward 1983 concert footage of Dennis and Brian doing "You Are So Beautiful" and "It's Just a Matter of Time" come from an August Costa Mesa show.
My recollection (my "In Concert" book is STILL packed away!) is that Dennis's last show may have been the September 26 (and possibly 27th) show at the LA County Fair (didn't someone even come up with a few pics of the show at some point?).
I think there have been rumors over the years of Dennis showing up at a gig or two after that, maybe playing on stage for a bit or showing up but not playing. But I think the September LA County Fair show is the last confirmed more or less full show Dennis played at.
