One photo out of several posted as a summary of 2018 showed him in a hospital bed. I saw nothing to conclude for sure that he is there at this moment.

So maybe that musician passed away from lung cancer.

He had surgery last year for a lung issue. As of his text to me yesterday he's feeling OK. Brother Dave has a lot of competing health issues but he keeps battling back.

I had dinner with David just prior to leaving the U.S. again (mid-November). I can say he was in good health and spirits at that point...hopefully all is still well.
