As this is a Dennis song, did he ever lay down lead vocals for the track or was it always going to be Carl out front? One of Carl’s finest vocal performances.

A bit irreverent, but the rumor had it that there were going to be alternate versions of All I Want To Do with Dennis on lead on upcoming 1968 copyright extension release, and Alan Boyd technically confirmed it on Discord.
I'm not sure if the same goes for It's About Time, but I'd say it could have happened.
Anyway, hopefully we'll see it all unveiled in 2020.

It's About Time is one of my favorite beach boys tracks. I love the production on it. I've thought for years that the isolated drum, percussion and organ track should be released officially.
