Woohoo, I need tickets if it’s a tour!

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

This is great.

But it’s not stopping anywhere near me. (This is not great)

I think the Beach Boys' Christmas album is a great work, especially they're singing abilities shine on that record, and also Mike's vocals are highlights. But I don't know what to think about this tour... Brian mentioned he would like to tour other albums (Summer Days, Friends) as well. So we get this. It probably will be a nice evening with lots of Christmas spirit for the audience (I hope). But I can't see this one being very succesful.

Hopefully they'll do a version of "Child of winter"; that one rocks

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

I'm feeling the same. Love the album, but the last time I attended a Christmas music show I was in elementary school, and I was on the stage with my classmates just murdering some carols. Then again, I've never seen Brian Wilson live. My regret for missing the Pet Sounds tour when it came through last year is growing!
