So this is the Beach Boys release:

2018/04/21   Beach Boys   2018RSD - In Paris With Andy Williams   Rock/Pop   5060331751274   1960'S RECORDS   7"   REP014

I would not imagine this is an authorized release by The Beach Boys. According to https://www.gs1us.org/tools/gs1-company-database-gepir, the barcode from this release is registered to a company out of London called TV Music. Would almost definitely be a Universal barcode if it was official. Happy to be proven wrong though.

Also, 1960s Records might be the most generic label name possible.

Well, the official list is out: http://recordstoreday.com/SpecialReleases

Did I miss it, or is the Beach Boys and Andy Williams 7-inch not listed?

The implication seems to be that whatever that BB record was/is, it's not part of the "official" RSD lineup. It sure looks/sounds like one of those rinky European grey market deals.

The german site has it listed.
It seems to feature the '67 live recordings for the Unicef show and the Andy Williams TV show recordings. I only saw the cover and it had songs listed that indicate these shows.

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

So, do we know if this is going to be released in the US at all? Still unclear to me.

From what I saw, it was going to be a 7-inch.

Not likely because it's a European copyright law release. Some stories might carry it because a few usually carry those types but not nationwide

Well, Record Store Day has come and gone. Anybody find that Beach Boys, "In Paris with Andy Williams" EP? I've been debating whether I should try buying it from one of the European websites that appear to have it.

I did manage to buy one semi-Beach Boys related album: Van Dyke Parks, "Clang of the Yankee Reaper."

This label seems to have released a few items for RSD this year- including the Beach Boys item. Here is the label's website: http://www.1960s.london/

Al Talks about his ‘Postcards’ tour and title track...

The album’s title track includes a guest vocal by Glen Campbell, who played guitar on Beach Boys sessions in the ‘60s as a member of the Wrecking Crew. It’s become a signature song for Jardine, both for its breezy California sound and its autobiographical lyric.

“I love folk music, Glen Campbell, Jimmy Webb and all those influences came together with The Beach Boys’ kind of harmonies,” Jardine said. “It has that quintessential authentic Western sound. I think we’re gonna release a live version of it from one of these concerts and do a video for it as well as a promotion for the vinyl release on Record Store Day in November.”

Thanks for that update. I had heard rumblings of "Postcards" getting a vinyl release. It makes sense that they'd capitalize on RSD.
