The odds and ends collection. That label can be misleading since both volumes have some very VERY important tracks.

We will only include tracks from the collection which were recorded between 1967 - 1970. We will also be including the tracks from the Soundtrack for the film YELLOW SUBMARINE which were not included in other albums.

We will split the remaining tracks down the middle and create two tribes. The "Piccadilly" tribe and the "Twickenham" tribe. Each round we will vote off a track from each tribe.

I struggled with whether or not we should include "Let It Be" and "Across the Universe" since they were already included in Let It Be (albeit different versions). I have decided to only include Across the universe since Let It Be was the winner of Survivor#14 and it wouldn't look good cosmetically if we had two versions of the same song as potential contestants in BEATLES SUPER SURVIVOR where we will pit all the winners against each other in a final showdown.

The songs will be listed in the order which they were recorded. (the spotify link will have all the tracks but the sequence will not be chronological)

Vote for your LEAST FAVORITE from EACH TRIBE (two total).

Tally on Feb 14

THE PICCADILLY TRIBE

Only A Northern Song
All Together Now
It's All Too Much
Lady Madonna
The Inner Light
Hey Bull Dog

THE TWICKENHAM TRIBE

Hey Jude
Revolution (single version)
The Ballad of John & Yoko
Old Brown Shoe
Donít Let Me Down
Across the Universe (single version)
You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)

My vote for least favorite from Piccadilly Tribe is The Inner Light. It's more Indian stuff from George which I feel doesn't really go anywhere (ironically  LOL)

My vote for least favorite from London Tribe is You Know My Name (Look Up the Number). It's funny and charming, but not something I go around whistling.

"Only A Northern Song"
"Across The Universe" even if "Revolution" & "Ballad" tie with it.

I agree. The charity album version of Across The Universe on Past Masters is significantly different from the Let It Be version. But, where's Don't Let Me Down!?

All Together Now (Love me some Northern Song and Inner Light)

The Ballad Of John & Yoko (Agreed with B.E., where on earth is Don't Let Me Down?)

Wow. I think the three who voted against Its All Too Much are dead wrong. This song is a masterpiece and, IMO, should have been the survivor. Cíest la vie.

9 smilers voted across 4 Piccadilly songs and 4 Twickenham songs.

3 smilers thought Georgeís song was All Too Much.
5 smilers would rather forget their name and number.
