Bad news for Bruce?

Several star's homes were heavily damaged or destroyed in Montecito yesterday including Oprah's. I believe Bruce is her neighbor, or at least close by. So just wondering what these mudslides did to Bruce and if he was there?

I'm glad the property is fine. The BBs became rich at the perfect time to buy real estate in CA. Good for them. Montecito, Big Sur, Lake Tahoe, Beverly Hills are all shockingly beautiful. Even with the ups and downs of CA real estate and the individual BBs, it's all worked out pretty well.
My thoughts are actually with the people who've endured losses right now. So sad. The area will revive itself. I hope the people bounce back as well.

Heartbreaking images on Dutch TV of this horrific sequel to the fires.
Thinking of those who were less lucky than Oprah and Bruce.

I live on the other side of country from California, but Southern California seems to have some absolutely terrible luck - between the droughts, wildfires, floods, and earthquakes.

God must’ve smiled the day Brian Wilson was born!

Seems like horrific events like this are happening with increasing frequency all over these days, with mudslides, fires, crazy powerful hurricanes, ect. Scary.

I don't know if there are any regular posters here from Australia, but 117 degrees in Sydney can't have been fun, either during the past week, I think.
The CA mudslide storm system hit the middle of the US at the same time as an Arctic blast (we have fun things like that often - in Spring they look like tornadoes) - so freezing rain, ice and snow - think roadways as ice skating rinks...
Buckle-up humanity - we're in for a bumpy ride. At least we have love, music and comedy to help us along.

David.
And, technically Mike (Incline Village is in Nevada).

Thanks. Given the rate at which CA is experiencing natural disasters these days, I was just wondering if they were *all* at risk of one of them.
