And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

And also sad, they finally made the RnR HOF and the expected reunion will not now happen 😭

The one silver lining is that at least Thomas knew they made it.

Jon Lord (Deep Purple) and Mike Smith (Dave Clark Five) couldn't say the same.

It's taken me a bit of time to digest the loss of Ray Thomas. I've always loved the Moody Blues, but was especially fond of Ray, in part because he reminded me so much of my beloved grandfather. "Grandpop Vic" came to America from Birmingham at the age of 19 after WWI to live the American dream. Neither he nor Ray lost their Brummie accent. This is my favorite performance of my favorite MB song.
