Those scans all went when the posters in question decamped. Pity.

Was this the picture? Is that what you mean by stripes? Maybe it will help to identify the picture used...

I believe they used this photo of Brian in his shop in "Endless Harmony", and I back when it aired on VH1 in 1998 I remember watching it with someone with a pretty quick, dry wit. Someone else in the room asked "where is that?", and the other guy answered "that's Brian's bathroom medicine cabinet."

All-time great photo of BW!

Kinda rocking the same look today (minus the bathrobe).....

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Nah, it was a magazine cover. It was the first issue. The whole cover was black and white. It looked like stripes across the whole cover, like it was shadows or something. I remember Brian was on there, and that’s it. I think it was OCTOBER 67 or something.

sounds like "Fusion" article written by Michael Vosse. That would make it 1969, not 1967 though.

Yup, that’s it. Fusion Magazine Issue 8. I knew the name was on the tip of my tongue. Now just to find it somewhere.

Could have swore it was 67 though. Maybe it just used pics from
67? It’s a shame it has slipped my Mind like that

Edit:

Found it!

The photo of Brian in his bathrobe in the radiant radish is by Annie liebowitz and was taken in June 1971 for rolling stone
