Pomme Frites...with ketchup or nacho cheese? Bearnaise. That’s how they’re classy enough to be listed as pomme frites! Indeed - a solid choice. But I'd also order a side of mayo for dipping...

It’s a small club with variable capacity depending on the layout they use. Tables were set up so I’d guess lower end of their range, maybe 250? Not sure about ticket sales but the tables seemed full to me. Not sure about standing room etc.
Also the oldest crowd I’ve ever been in, average age likely 60+. At 41, I saw maybe 10 people I’d guess were younger than I am. Much older than a typical BW show, for sure, but with less hipster exposure (in comparison) and high ticket costs, not too shocking I guess.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Skipped the "story"...I'd like to be surprised by whatever dialogue lies there...but the tune sounds GREAT!

Sounds surprisingly full for only three guys on stage. Sounds promising.
And it wouldn't be an Al show without him biffing the lyrics at least a little bit.
As always, Al's voice sounds amazing.

I've always thought that Al should have sung lead on CG. Sounds so good without that nasal interference from the lovester.

The acapella verse of California Saga is just wonderful. Stay with the clip to the end.

Al signed my Carrot. Carrots were passed out prior to Veg. song, well what would you do? I had Al put his name on the carrot. Bless his wife, she was so kind and took a pic. of the whole doings. Mary Ann even sent the photo to me.... How great is that! Eve I won't forget, my Mother's funeral was just days ago and I , We needed some healing. Thanks to all, yes all the Jardine's for a fun night. Now I have this issue of a carrot in my fridge with Al Jardine written on it. The new saying around the house is do you want a jardine in your salad? Bless you Mary Ann.

Did Al have a signing session after the show, or did you just catch him?

Al just posted another pic on Facebook which seems to indicate he's doing signings:

If that's the case, I have to go. Was he charging to sign or anything, or is it just a pretty standard small show post performance thing?

That sounded significantly less fuller than California Girls. Tempo and percussion make all the difference.....

Al posted this pic of an article on his Facebook page. Nothing drastically new in the article, but nice that some local media outlets are picking up on Al's shows:

For those who might be interested, Matt Jardine has a few comments on Facebook describing how the second night's show was tighter, and that he expects the show to get tighter and *for the setlist selection to expand* as the dates go on.
