Found that someone posted audio of what seems like the full show on 7/20/2025 @ the Riviera Theatre:  Al Jardine & David Marks, Matt Jardine, Gary Griffin w/ the Surf City All Stars.

Pretty busy tour schedule. Wasn’t thinking about the fact Al and band may also be doing some shows in between the Al Jardine w/ Pet Sounds Band schedule.

The "Love You Suite" is my fav thing on the Internet. They not only nail all those quite difficult songs, but infuse all the 33 minutes of it with that delightful "slow rock" vibe. Pure bliss.

Al mentioned three more dates at the Musical Instrument Museum are going on sale soon, for Nov. 28-30, so I've added those dates to the top post.

He is Jim Laspesa. By his looks, I knew he should surely have Italian ancestry! He has a very good voice, too.

Now I have the complete roster:

Al Jardine: vocals, guitar
Matt Jardine: vocals, percussion
Bob Lizik: bass guitar
Darian Sahanaja: vocals, keys
Debbie Shair: keys, Moog, choreography on "Jimmy Carson"
Emeen Zarookian: guitar
Gary Griffin: vocals, keys
Jim Laspesa: vocals, percussion
Mike D'Amico: drums
Paul Von Mertens: saxes, flute, harmonica
Rob Bonfiglio: vocals, guitar

Tears of unbridled joy hearing these songs live!
Someone should get them the footage of Brian going hog-wild on the bass when the BBs played "Roller Skating Child" as an intro to the "Love You" portion of the set...
A running set of clips with Brian would be a great ongoing motif for the entire show.  3D

The 2nd verse Al added to Ding Dang has a country flavour to it, as you would expect from him! Smiley

I just spent some enjoyable time going through the early pages of this thread which were about Al's 2018 tour. There's a nice symmetry in that back then we were all desperate for him to add some deep cuts, and now in 2025 he's added the whole freakin' Love You album!  Cool

It's unbelievable. Maybe Brian, who is now free, is inspiring Al from Up High.

Darian gave me a bunch of his time back in 2011, and it inspired me so much as a young teen who loves music.

A great dude, hes in it for the music and the love. The latest SMiLE book from David Leaf only confirms what we all know even more so!

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Apparently, the word is out about how fun the "Love You" setlist and Pet Sounds Band shows have been.

The three November Phoenix shows' public on sale was yesterday at 10 AM local.  27 hours later, two of the three have sold out the approximately 300 seat theater and the Saturday show has just two single seats remaining.

Congratulations to Al and the band!

I just saw Al and the Pet Sounds Band last night in Chicago. While this forum has been a great resource for me over the years, I've been intentionally avoiding most spoilers about the show. I went in knowing we'd get Love You and some other deep cuts, along with the hits. What I left with was a profound excitement about what I hope is the future of this music! RUN, DON'T WALK TO SEE THIS SHOW.

I've seen all the different BB related touring iterations over the years and enjoyed most for various reasons. But I don't think I've ever left a show this excited. For a long time, I wondered what would happen to this music in a live setting once the originals stopped touring. Who would carry on the legacy? Sharing the front line, Darian, Matt, and Rob each taking leads (all more so than in the BW touring days) at times gave me chills. I have no idea if these guys will want to keep doing this when all the original Beach Boys are no longer playing shows, but I sure hope for the rest of us they do. Aside from their fantastic musicianship, there is a genuine love and excitement that infuses each song. You feel it in the crowd.

The band is tight in all the right ways, but also loose and having a great time. Al sounded great! Whatever illness someone mentioned that he was dealing with last year, he sounds much more normal now singing. Not just normal, but GREAT. The crowd loved it and was super into it. Different vibe than BW shows-- more interactive. Everyone was on their feet from the Pet Sounds Suite through the end of the encore!

My only criticism is that Al moves off the mic a lot while singing and that makes him tough to hear at times. It could be a teleprompter placement issue, as I gotta think over the last 60 years Al's developed good enough mic technique, and I've never noticed this before. But honestly, who cares... this was such a spectacular show. Excited to see tonight's show.
