From time to time Steve and I messaged each other, especially for birthdays and he always was quickly responding. I wrote him in 2016 and he never replied which seemed unusual. Seems he hasn't been on this board since that time. Does anybody know if he's allright? He seemed to be such a nice person with good taste in music.

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Ah, thanks! So it's nothing serious, he's just not using this board much. Good to know.

I PMed him there ten days ago but if he hasn't logged on, chances are that he hasn't seen it.
I've also enquired openly----no joy there either.

Thanks guys! It was just a thought I had wondered about. No big drama. If you ever hear from him, say "Hi" for me.

When I saw this thread, all I could think of was "Bob Mayo on the keyboards, Bob Mayo"
