Not a huge fan of the current one. Anyone have any better ones?

There's always the alternate Imagination cover, too ...

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Lest anyone think these aren't real ... I own copies of both. The Imagination one is a bit rarer -- a cardboard sleeve.

Wasn't the cover for the Love and Mercy single a grotesque mess also? I only saw the cover on the cassette single, but it was not good, kinda similar to this junk up above....

Artwork by Brian himself ... Yeah, I owned that one, but got rid of it. The B-side ain't much cop, either, "He Couldn't get his ol' Body to Move". Speaking of train wreck cover art, how about Peter Blake's work for "Gettin' in Over my Head"?

The BW '88 album cover screams EIGHTIES! It's a pretty solid representation of what was on the record. That's what Brian looked like then, and the thing is awash in 80s synths. I wouldn't really want to change it.
The GIOMH album cover is perhaps one of the ugliest ever. I made better collages with poster board and a glue stick in elementary school.
I'd say the best Brian cover art is probably the IJWMFTT soundtrack and "Orange Crate Art." Gershwin is nice as well.

My favorite from his solo career is probably the NPP cover.

I actually had the Police Academy 4 album when I was a kid. I was a Police Academy fan, and I think my father found it as a record store on cheap.
But, at the age of 9, I was more interested in the "Citizens on Patrol" rap than the BW song.

Me too (check my avatar)! It was this cover art, on the cassette, that got me to buy this album back in 1988, as a young teen with little disposable income... I liked the cover and loved what I heard. And that's why I'm posting on this board nearly 30 years later.

In a career that doesn't exactly include a lot of great cover art, I do that BW88 is one of the better ones.

I've always had a weird very slight fascination with reconfigured cassette (and 8-track, etc.) cover art:
