We may do the White Album as two separate survivors.
That would be a great idea. In which case I might actually vote on them.

Anyway, voting for the title track once again.

Thanks to having, at least for the time being, a subscription to Amazon Music, I was able to listen to the entire MMT last night for probably the first time since my sister played the record back in 1967-8. Of course I've heard the individual songs gazillions of times over the years (with the exception of Blue Jay Way* and Your Mother Should Know, which I still heard a number of times). Listening with earphones made me really appreciate the instrumentation a lot more.

But still hasn't changed my opinion of Hello Goodbye  Cheesy

*For many years I thought this song was on The White Album instead of this one.

It could easily pass for a White Album song.

In fact, I think there's a few songs on this album that are transition songs between their middle and late stuff, sort of the way Help! has a lot of stuff that was a transition between their early and middle stuff.

Some would say this is where the cracks began to show in the Beatles Mystique... Maybe more like hairline fractures....

Quote
Magical Mystery Tour is an album by the English rock band the Beatles that was released as a double EP in the United Kingdom and an LP in the United States. Produced by George Martin, it includes the soundtrack to the 1967 film of the same name. The EP was issued in the UK on 8 December 1967 on the Parlophone label, while the Capitol Records LP release in the US occurred on 27 November and featured eleven tracks through the addition of songs from the band's 1967 singles. The EP was also released in Germany, France, Spain, Yugoslavia, Brazil, Australia and Japan.[4] The first official release as an eleven-track LP in the UK did not occur until 1976.

Decided to change my vote. AYNIL isn't my favorite song on here by far, but it does have a nice outro.

Will go with Blue Jay Way, although I kind of like the music for this song.
Did those people ever show up? Or did George have to ring for a taxi or limo?

All You Need is Love, I can't stand this song, probably my least favorite Beatles song ever, right alongside Hello Goodbye.
