Some would say this is where the cracks began to show in the Beatles Mystique... Maybe more like hairline fractures....

Magical Mystery Tour is an album by the English rock band the Beatles that was released as a double EP in the United Kingdom and an LP in the United States. Produced by George Martin, it includes the soundtrack to the 1967 film of the same name. The EP was issued in the UK on 8 December 1967 on the Parlophone label, while the Capitol Records LP release in the US occurred on 27 November and featured eleven tracks through the addition of songs from the band's 1967 singles. The EP was also released in Germany, France, Spain, Yugoslavia, Brazil, Australia and Japan.[4] The first official release as an eleven-track LP in the UK did not occur until 1976.

Blue Jay Way.
I have given this song ample opportunity to grow on me and it never has.

Is it me, or was Flying obviously a precursor to McCartney's Hot as Sun Glasses?
That, Blue Jay Way (which is actually OK, by the way) and the title track are the weakest. I'll go with the title track.
And speaking of the title track, I always thought the fade on it sounded like a part of a Doors song.

Call me crazy, but I prefer the MMT LP over Pepper. This battle will be tougher for me.
But, Im going with Your Mother Should Know. Its probably the only song off the album I never listen to on its own.

Hello
GOODBYE
One of the least sounding 'Beatles' songs IMO. If it wasn't for the brief "Hello goodbye, hello goodbye" backing vocals and the tag/outro, I'd never listen to this song. One of, if not, the only Beatles song I feel that way about.

Baby You're a Rich Man, compared to everything else on this album, this song sounds a bit too straightforward IMO.

Sorry for the serious lag. I have been out of country and I had no opportunity to update.
Pretty wide and diverse first round. Just about ever track was offered up. It looked like it was going to be a 5-way tie for a bit. 14 votes over 6 songs...
Baby You're A Rich Man because you got the most votes. (4 votes)
