I have to give a lot of credit to all the filmmakers that include Beach Boy music in there movies, they really keep the legacy alive. Whats your favourite moment? Mine is seeing Adam Sandler singing Wouldn't it be Nice in 50 first Dates and Chevy Chase singing Good Vibrations in Vegas Vacation.

Hey, cool idea! There is thread "BBs in movies" but it's namecheck. Anyhoo, rats floating to "Surfin' USA" in "Graveyard Shift". Bizarre match.

Recently I watched Stephen King's "It" and enjoyed the scene where the character played by Harry Anderson drives back into town singing "I Get Around" Any Brooklyn 9-9 fans out there notice that there is like at least one Beach Boys reference in every episode? Maybe I'm seeing something that's not there, but when you watch a bunch of episodes back to back you start to notice things... anyway, the most obvious reference is the one where Linetti and Boyle's mom and dad are getting married and Peralta wants the DJ to play Kokomo, LOL. But seriously... it'd be great if someone else could corroborate that I'm not imagining the BB references in that show... they're subtle and sometimes obscure, but they're there!

I always thought that the use of Wouldn't It Be Nice in Roger & Me was quite poignant. And I like the way that Wes Anderson uses the music in the Fantastic Mr. Fox.

If we aren't counting all of LOVE & MERCY I would go with...
1. "Good Vibrations" from Cameron Crowe's VANILLA SKY.
2. "Wouldn't It Be Nice" from Hal Ashby's SHAMPOO

Feel Flows during the closing credit / photo montage in Almost Famous.
Robert Wuhl incorrectly backselling The Beach Boys as a girl group in Good Morning Vietnam, to be corrected by the guy yelling "Beach Boys. Those are guys!"
God Only Knows is used as a montage in Boogie Nights.

Good Morning Vietnam Didn't see it but sounds like that Robert Wuhl (character?) lacked in intellect dept if he misheard BBs as girl group.

This has to be one of the most random. Pay close attention to the awful dialogue: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nx0-9hX9xEw&t=6m25sLet it go for about two minutes. They cram nearly a dozen BB references into the dialogue.

I thought the Big Bang Theory Darlin' episode was great, even if it flooded all Darlin'-related youtube channels with BBT content.

Wouldnt It Be Nice was also used in a montage of Kramer on the beach in the Seinfeld episode The Hamptons.

Can anyone name movies/tv shows in which the band was talked about in the dialogue?
Here are some I know of
American Graffiti - Mackenzie Phillips "Don't you think the Beach Boys are boss?" Rush Hour - Jackie Chan "The Beach Boys are great American Music" 50 First Dates - Adam Sandler "The Beach Boys? how nice of that man to give me a cd that will remind of all the times I shared with his daughter" That Thing You Do - "Is it true you passed up The Beach Boys? You try talking to Brian everyday"
I would love to find more.
