It wouldn't have changed the outcome any if I had, but I agreed with you. I hope beach Boy Collection comes back to vote this round.
 Smiley

Yes I know. It's done for balance sake.

Now I'm curious - do we vote against 2 songs till the end, i.e. Final Round would be 2, not 3 songs?

I figured we would keep it uniform with other rounds and keep it with a final three; voting for the favorite at the end.

No, meant do we vote against 2 songs, i.e. is it soon when we vote against single song? In special BBs Survivors, we went with 2 tracks, then towards the end it shifted to single song ousting.

We will do this like normal rounds.

The odds and ends collection. That label can be misleading since both volumes have some very VERY important tracks.

We will only include tracks from the collection which were recorded between 1962 - 1966. We will not include the German versions of "She Loves You" or "I Want To Hold Your Hand".
additionally we will include the 1965/66 tracks which can be found on Vol. 2. We will split the remaining tracks down the middle and create two tribes. The "Mersey" tribe and the "London" tribe. Each round we will vote off a track from each tribe.  I also shuffled "I Call Your Name" into the London tribe because it fit that aesthetic more.

Past Masters was originally issued as two separate CDs Past Masters, Volume One and Past Masters, Volume Two, on 7 March 1988. The two volumes were included in The Beatles Box Set. A double LP set, titled Past Masters, Volumes One & Two (also titled simply Past Masters), was subsequently released in the US on 24 October 1988 and in the UK on 10 November 1988.

The double set was re-released on CD, titled simply Past Masters, on 9 September 2009, as part of the remastering of the original Beatles catalogue, and was included in The Beatles stereo box set. This release includes stereo mixes of both "From Me to You" and "Thank You Girl", whereas the original 1988 issue contained the two tracks in mono. The The Beatles in Mono box set, released at the same time, includes the album Mono Masters, which contains a similar track list of dedicated mono mixes.

8 votes spread across 2 Mersey songs and 2 London songs.
I Got You.  (5 votes ) and Yes It was, but now it ain't. (7 votes )

Vote for your LEAST FAVORITE from EACH TRIBE (two total).

Tally on May 23

THE MERSEY TRIBE

From Me To You
She Loves You
I Want To Hold Your Hand
This Boy
Long Tall Sally

THE LONDON TRIBE

I Feel Fine
Day Tripper
We Can Work It Out
Paperback Writer
Rain

Round#1 Bad Boy (London) May 10
Round#1 Matchbox (Mersey) May 10
Round#2 Love Me Do (Mersey) May 12
Round#2 She's A Woman (London) May 12
Round#3 Slow Down (Mersey) May 16
Round#3 I'm Down (London) May 16
Round#4 I Call Your Name (London) May 18
Round#4 Thank You Girl (Mersey) May 18
Round#5 Yes It Is (London) May 21
Round#5 I'll Get You (Mersey) May 21

I feel that Long Tall Sally has been around long enough.

It's a tough choice between I Feel Fine and Day Tripper. I feel like they are both neck in neck as far as overall qualities. I think it's the innovative use of feedback at the start of I Feel Fine that will keep it from getting my sad vote this round.

Day Tripper.  Cry

Long Tall Sally was too long.  (4 votes ) and We got a good reason to vote Day Tripper off. (6 votes )

Its tough to vote against a song so the top three represent what you feel are the best....

I love This Boy, but From Me To You is more iconic in my mind.

I love the discourse between optimism and pessimism in We Can Work It Out so my vote goes towards Paperback Writer.
