The idea is from PS forum... let's see, what are your least favorite among popular BB songs among fans?

Mine includes:
・The entire 1964 Christmas album. It surely has its moment, but it's totally was a disappointment, considering it came out after fabulous All Summer Long and some singles from Today!
・Love Surrounds Me and Baby Blue is brilliant, on the other hand, a little bit dull. Anyway, I can't say I care much for them. The same thing goes for Bambu, and possibly POB, which has some of my favorite DW songs (River Song, Rainbows)
・I can't see why some people like Sunshine off KTSA- it's just not fun.
・I love the first version of Shortnin' Bread, but L.A. version of the song is boring and a big embarassment.
・Rio Grande is good, but not great.
・I don't care much for the last three songs from TWGMTR

Vegetables - Any version.

Most of the Love You album, I Wanna Pick You Up in particular

Funky Pretty - IMO the weak link of an otherwise great album

This was the thread I saw at PSF, hence my initial confusion when posting in its companion topic. Anyway...

That Lucky Old Sun, the album----I've never understood what all the fuss was about.

Don't hurt my little sister. Honestly,  this might be my least favorite Brian composition melodywise.

The entire Imagination album.

The original In the Back of my mind.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

The MIU album
Cabinessence.  It's brilliant, I get that. I just don't care for listening to it.

I'm with OSD, the entirety of Summer in Paradise is garbage. I'll never understand why some of the songs on this album are popular with a number of people.

'Getcha Back'. I, like a lot of others, really dig a handful of songs on BB85, but this one is a contrived, nasally mess with an unfinished chorus. It sounds like a dry run at 'Kokomo' but misfired. A waste.

While I know a lot of other posters dislike 'Hey Little Tomboy' like I do, it still gets a lot of praise. I just don't see it. I always picture Mike, Brian and Carl leering at a preteen girl with big stupid grins on their faces when I hear this song. That is unforgivable. On top of that it sounds terrible. This song can rot in hell.

'Here Comes the Night' 1979 disco. Look, just because the harmonies are okay doesn't mean it's a good idea. This stupid track and 'Sumahama' should've been kicked off L.A. Light Album in favor of something better. I can't abide anything trying to bring down a nifty album like LA.

'That Same Song'. Dumb as a box of rocks but not in a fun Love You kind of way. Just no.

I have an easy first  answer to this question: I Get Around. I really tried to like it, but can't. It stubbornly remains my least favourite song in ALL BB canon. To my ears, it keeps "getting around" without ever going any place.

Daybreak Over the Ocean: no need of explanation here.
Almost all the post-Love You BB songs, sorry. The magic had gone.
The whole Imagination album. Niot for the production (though it didn't help), for the songs.

Little Deuce Coupe (the song)

Other than the bridge, this song bores me to tears. I think it's way, way unworthy of its fame and adoration.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Christmas album. "Let Him Run Wild" isn't as good as everyone makes it out to be. I feel the same way about it that Brian does- the lead vocal could be a bit better.

You Still Believe In Me, Never Learn Not To Love

How can I be shocked even though I'm already prepared for it??   Embarrassed Embarrassed

Edit: Forgot to put in my own opinions:

Im really divided on Sunflower. The highs are REALLY high (Slip On Through, All I Wanna Do, Cool Cool), but the rest of it is bland.
For example, This whole world isn't really THAT good! Is that so comparable to Pet Sounds? Does the album provide you any warm fuzzy feelings when you have listened through it as Friends are able to do (minus TM)?

Break Away get a lot of attention? Why, I dont know.

Wonderful is pretty good, but everyone keeps talking about just that one all the time.

Where I Belong
From There to Back Again

Both are fine songs, but there are other tracks on their respective albums that I'd choose over them.

Help me Rhonda (too repetitive)
Barbara Ann (uninteresting, and not even the beach boys)
The two Carl "Surfs up" tracks (just don't appeal)

'I Just Wasn't Made For These Times' ...... I HATE that horribly out-of-tune theremin, it ruins the song for me, makes me cringe.

This came up on another thread, but "Crack At Your Love" on BB85.  It's generally considered one of the better tracks on the album but I just can't stand it.  It sounds like a Casio demo.  It lays there and dies.

"Sunshine" is just a two chord bleah that goes on FOREVER.

But my greatest apostasy is "Feel Flows."  It has grown on me over the years - I no longer hate it, I have actually grown to like it - but it sure took a long time to warm to.

I guess tediousness is a common thread running through all those three songs.

I Can Hear Music... not a fan
in fact, side 1 of 20/20 is just bad in my book and Never Learn Not To Love is one of the worst things they ever did

Rock'n'Roll Music is unlistenable as well

and I'm a SMiLE nut but I don't like He Gives Speeches/She's Goin Bald either
likewise, I love Friends but Wake The World never did much for me

Forever is just an average song in my opinion and despite being one of Brian's favorites, Add Some Music is pretty clumsy lyrically as is Let The Wind Blow.

meanwhile I just love some of the things others have listed. go figure
