Hello everyone, my name is Paul. I just want to make myself known around here, so I can potentially make some new friends on this message board.

Hi, Paul, and welcome. :=)

Perhaps you can let us know how you came into contact with The Beach Boys' music.

Well, I was introduced through listening to The Beatles, the first time I listened to every studio album that a band made (I may have heard of The Beach Boys earlier, but I can't be certain). So I listened to a song off an album of theirs. That album was Pet Sounds. The song was "God Only Knows". I immediately understood why Paul McCartney loves it so much. After that, I have eventually listened to most, if not all, of The Beach Boys' studio output.
