How did this come to be?  I didn't even know there was such a series, certainly doesn't live up to the beautifully animated Looney Tunes cartoons of the 40s and 50s but I digress.  It's still fun if a little surreal to see Brian as a cartoon character and I like the song he sings.

duck dodgers > daffy duck > > > > > > > > darkwing duck

Darkwing Duck isn't related to Looney Tunes at all.

I think this just means that the author values Duck Dodgers higher than Daffy Duck, and Daffy Duck way higher than Darkwing Duck. Right?

P.S. The German Darkwing Duck intro song was awesome.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL1STwTWZTM

I know, we need a Beach Boys cartoon series!  I think it would do quite well.

Cool to see Brian, the classic WB theatrical shorts from about 1940 to about 1958 with Mel Blanc doing the voices are probably some of the greatest cartoons ever though, these IMO don't compare well.

I have all of the Golden Collections on DVD, really awesome stuff.  They really don't make them like that anymore.  And I'm not just saying that, they really don't make them like that.  Everything is done on computers or with flash.  And even if animation is hand-drawn, it's cheaper and less detailed.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

I wish there had been a Beach Boys cartoon around the same time the Jackson 5 had their own. That'd have been cool...

I like how this chooses to draw all the members in their 60s prime, but Brian looks like 1976 Brian and has no shirt on. Wonderful ^_^

I'm a big fan of all the one-off tracks Brian has done in the last 20 years. Even Speed Turtle. I wish that the Powers Above would compile 'em all and release them.

Sorry to revive an old thread.

I remember this show. I still have some DVDs of the series that someone made for me. I've watched them recently and it's still a pretty well done show. Either though I think that this is one of the worst episodes (not rating it higher even if Brian Wilson is in it).

The theme song is one of the best I've ever heard for a TV show.
