Sure there's coolness & grooviness to Blondie/ Rocky songs. The pair's style is distinct but voices blended well with BBs'. It isn't to say it's good material thru & thru but, HSC, to start with, is catchy & stylish if shortly repetitive. 3.

Sorry if I haven't been voting regularly on C&TP songs but it's an album that has yet to sink in (and I don't believe in voting on songs I'm not particularly familiar with). "Marcella" is a different matter. I've always loved this one (and "All This Is That"). The coda is a thing of wonder. (I'm completely nutty about shakers anyway.) Five. |
