Sorry to channel my inner grinch, but Frosty The Snowman was not on side 2. It's horribly disjointing to hear it close side 1. Also, where was Brian when Mike sang what is arguably the worst Beach Boys lead vocal of the '60s on Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town?

I thought it amazing that there were five original songs on this album. How many rock/pop groups did that?
The first two have been on the radio constantly. Wish they'd play Santa's Beard. I think of that photo of the three little Wilson brothers visiting Santa, and, after the picture was taken, Dennis being the one to test out that beard LOL

No apologies necessary, B.E.. My bad, as they say in the US. I can only assume Capitol thought side one would have been too short (even by BB standards) without "FRS".

Looks like I'm going to have to revisit "SCICTT" some time. Grin

I gave the song a "5" because the instrumentation and vocals were both stellar.
But because the vocals sound so incredible I wish that there was a vocals only track, such as they have for a number of other BBs songs, as intricacies in the vocals are buried when mixed in with the instruments.

4. Some really nice harmonies towards the end.
Docking one point because I don't really care for the way the "He sees you when you're sleeping..." part is sung.
