And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

While just a seemingly off-handed quick comment, Brian mentions wanting to do "Johnny B. Goode" and "Rock and Roll Music" with his own band. He has never done "Rock and Roll Music" solo, and while that wouldn't be near the top of my picks for him to do on tour, it would be interesting to hear Brian sing the lead for perhaps the first time in concert.

Just to throw Al something different, it would be interesting to hear Al tackle "School Days" for the first time in eons (I think, other than one random show/setlist of the 90s of questionably veracity, Al nor any touring band has performed "School Days" since 1982 or so).

Not surprised his death scared Brian - most things do.

I'd love them to add Johnny B Good to the set list in place of Barbara Ann!!  The Beach Boys used to close their shows with it back in the old days.

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.
