Jan Berry Biography (Jan & Dean) — Author Mark A. Moore has signed a contract for a new stand-alone biography of Jan Berry. It will be a companion to his previous book "The Jan & Dean Record" (2016). The new book will feature the biographical elements from the first book, but the material will be fleshed out and added to for a standard full-text treatment. The manuscript will be about 100,000 words, or 250 to 300 pages in published form. Unlike the previous expensive reference work, the new biography will be offered at a reasonable price. The manuscript is scheduled to be turned in to the publisher in October of this year, and the book should be available in 2018. More news will be posted when available

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

- Lester Bangs on The Beach Boys

- Jack Rieley
