Got Earthbound for $15-25 in about 1999/2000.  Afro

Got Chrono Trigger (and other SNES games) in a trade for a used PS2 about 2004.

I remember paying 70 bucks for Chrono Trigger (used!) back in '96. I have Earthbound too, with the big players guide that came with it. People are trying to sell that stuff on Ebay for hundreds of bucks, which is really absurd.  You could probably go into a local used game shop and find it for 60-80 bucks. Secret Of Mana is a big one, too. I never really got into it, though.

I never got into Sega systems (except Dreamcast. I loved it, still have it). I was a Nintendo fan boy. Still waiting to get my hands on that damn NES Classic. It's funny to me that Nintendo is coming out with a new system in a couple of weeks, and they can't even keep up with demand on a system that uses technology from 30 years ago.

I've got an NES Classic... it's just what it is... I suppose having 2 nes consoles (toploader and front loader) probably makes the effect lessen.

Dreamcast was my first console... Sonic Adventure (1) is still my favorite game ever.

Sonic Adventure is a great game!  Fantastic music.  I also am one of the lucky ones with a NES classic...

I found it hard to find gamers, they probably aren't that talkative. I'm more into automatenspielex.com. Never wanted to get any special equipment I'm happy with just my laptop for this

Is video game stuff with joysticks & diskettes (or what you say it in English)? Well, way back when I really liked this game, I didn't make it point to rmbr its name but it's about 2 Teletubbies-like creatures - each per gamer - they get thru levels & must defeat the monster. It's got funny cheerful music when the game starts. Can people posting in this thread ID the game by that description? Thanks in advance.

I got an NES classic for my birthday. It has 625 games loaded in. I can't figure out how to hook it up though.

Jay, it hooks up through HDMI cable. I don't have an NES classic, so I don't know if it came with a cable. Did it?

The only thing it came with were the controls. I bought an HDMI cord, but it wasn't the right size.

Great taste in games!

I too have a Pi, although I’m still trying to figure out what the “master duster” is. Did you mean “Master System “?

Since you have a Switch, how is it? I was planning to get one but finances went through the gutter sadly. If/when I am able to get one, which games do you recommend?

Last new system I ever bothered with was a PS2. I still love the Grand Theft Auto and Gran Turismo games from that era. These days I mostly play old Nintendo and Sega games on my computer via emulators. I could honestly care less about current video games.

Yes i did mean master system.

The switch is good but the online is probably the weakest of the modern systems. But who cares because it has the best ever Mario Kart like ever and this may sound goofy but it is just so darn cute.
