Little Bird and Child is Father

Musicologists - is all of little bird based on CIFOTM or just part of it..?  I mean the chords rather than the arrangement..?

I can hum some of LB over sections of CIFOTM but it could be coincidence.

I'm really just wondering if the LB melodies CIFOTM are the original CIFOTM melodies.

Also lyrically:   I wonder if the 'little bird' lyric started out as 'little child'..?

Before the real musicologists chime in, I'd say it's just the chorus (the uncredited Brian part) of "Bird" that recycles the chords of "Child".
