Random thing, but a good friend of mine is livestreaming himself writing and recording dozens of songs today. His stage name is Johnny Unicorn (currently based in Seaatle) and he's a very talented musician and a fellow Brian/ Beach Boys enthusiast. I've been casually popping onto his youtube and watching for a few minutes here and there throughout the day and it's been humorous and compelling. His music should appeal to at least a certain segment of Beach Boys fans as well as fans of bands like They Might Be Giants and Guided By Voices.
