Moby Grape's third album and the first one without Skip Spence. The songs are really great, much better than Wow. The last four songs on the album: Captain Nemo, What's To Choose, Going Nowhere and Seeing are the best of their career. And the sequencing works so well. yeah I know Seeing is a Skip Song using one of his demos.

It's out of print and I've only heard it from the 2cd Vintage album. Any other fans?

Yeah, it's incredible. I have a repackage of that record from 1970 entitled Omaha with the title track replacing Ooh Mama Ooh.

I got that, too. Found that and another one ('20 Granite Creek' I think) in my Dad's collection. I've still not gotten into the Grape, but I've always meant to, the first album gets such praise. Is that all on the 2CD? I assume that's the place to start?

The 2CD is a nice beginner. It has the entire first LP, but it's by no means comprehensive.
