Does anyone know if this version of Make It Big has ever been released?

That mix of "Make it Big" is from the actual movie "Troop Beverly Hills", and is basically just the "first" mix of the song.

The version eventually released later on the "Still Crusin'" album is mostly just a stark remix of the song, though they may have re-recorded some elements as well. But the basic musical "bed" of each version is the same. The album version is not a 100% new re-recording.

Just found this guy who managed to remove the sound effects from the opening credits of the movie. It's not 100% perfect, but since it was never officially released, I guess it's as good as it gets: http://letthedjshakeyou.blogspot.com.ar/2009/07/beach-boys-make-it-big.html

It is sans sound effects over the end credits of the film "Troop Beverly Hills".

Interesting to have a different version, but the album version is where it's at.

One thing I've learned from listening to this mix... I think Mike says "and everything that you do, doll" during the choruses (such as at 2:47), which I always thought was  "and everything that you do, darling". This mix is a lot drier without the reverb that's on the Still Cruisin' version.

I'm still not positive about the "doll" lyric, does anyone agree or have a different idea of what that repeating lyric is?
