I'm sorry, and I know I'll take some flack for this, but no public figure is above parody.  If it were a good impersonation of Brian Wilson used for an actual sketch, instead of whatever in the world this is, I would hope that it would be well received.

God, this pissed me off. It was such a mean spirited impression, and it didn't even sound like Brian. Besides talking out of the side of his mouth, nothing seemed like Brian.

Imus (another Mike Love buddy who has hosted Mike and his band on his show, no surprise) has always been a total hack. I guess he has a good deep radio voice, but instead of just reading the news or doing voiceover work for a living, he chose to do actual topical (I guess?) stuff, and it has never once been funny.

That's one thing that you and I can agree on, HJ.  I've never thought Imus was even remotely funny, and when he tries to be funny, he's even less funny.
