Hey there everyone I have a question that I hope you won't find offensive or insulting. My son is five years old and has a class project they have to work on for school. Yeah it's a shame he goes all year round and only has two weeks of in the summer. But anyways. He's gathering postcards from all over the world for a show and tell project, if you would or could share some of your postcards from your area, that would be wonderful. If you can't or find this to be a waste of your time, I understand. If you are willing or want to help out, please email me at BECKGTR09@aol.com and I'll email you my address for the postcards to be sent to. Thank you for your time and Long Live The Hawthorne Hotshots.

Speaking of postcards, a friend of mine buys old unused postcards....nothing particularly collectible, just interesting old postcards of towns, businesses, buildings, ads, etc...buys them cheap, and uses them to drop a line to friends.  Fun, and costs mere change including the stamp.

 Grin Donald,

I sometimes goto the antique stores in the area for postcard hunting. I found an old 1966 one of Capitol Records and one from Red Rocks in Colorado from 1972. So I'm keeping my eyes open for anything of interest. I managed to get some postcards for my son's collection from a cousin of mine dating back from 1910's and some from 1930's. So these are cool to look at and what places they are, like the Ambassador Hotel from Los Angeles. I guess a family relation of mine stayed there for a trip. That's the same place were Senator Bobby Kennedy was shot at. Who would of knew? I hope other members will help out, I'm not begging but it would be nice.
