This is one of the saddest pieces I know so it's most appropriate here. Rest in peace, sir.

That's a great LP.

Hard to believe we lost 2/3 of ELP in 2016.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

I never would have guessed when I saw Ringo on his 2001 tour that a post-intermission power trio performance of "Karn Evil 9" by the trio of Greg Lake, Howard Jones, and Sheila E. would be one of the highlights of the night.

My favorite ELP song, and appropriately melancholy:

Loved his voice and guitar! Lucky Man is an all time classic!

2016 continues to be a shitty year. 2/3 of ELP gone.! Sucks!

RIP Greg Lake!

Tarkus was their best, "Stones of Years" one of my favorites from it.
What a powerful voice he had.

I saw him in '72 with ELP at a pollwinners' concert, with Tarkus in tow:

In an alternate version, the following limerick-palindrome could be a memorial tribute to Greg Lake. The 1'st & 5'th line were originally in essence coined by Mr. K, as part of a regular palindrome last year. Now, I've framed them to form a new limerick-palindrome, almost rhyming with the one shown furthest below. But alas the 3'rd line in this mix becomes way too long for a limerick (I guess that "M" would signify: use EMerson or Don't):

>Sex-e-palindromes unite GODs EXes!
An integral EVIL perplexes.
Ex-ELP-rep.: live-large-t^'nin!
AS "EXes": DO-GET-IN !
Use M. or D.; nil APEXes.<

So instead I'll go for a more general wording (with a zen-bhuddistic punchline, though that might be a contradiction in terms) which could apply to most - if not all of us [By Mr.K/SkRm]:

>Sex-e-palindromes unite GODs EXes

An integral EVIL --- flexes !

Ex-elf: live-LargE-T^'NIN!

AS "EXes": DO-GET-IN !

Use M.O.Rd; nil APEXes<
